If you're looking for us, we are in the Vijayalakshmi Complex over in Ashoknagar, Mandya. It’s a standard commercial building and we’ve been here for a good while. Mandya is a bit slower than the big cities, which gives us a chance to really focus on the projects we have in the local area. Most of what we do involves infrastructure, like working on roads or small buildings. Our office is on the second cross, and it’s pretty basic inside. Just some tables, chairs, and stacks of blueprints that never seem to get smaller. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too hot. The staff here are all locals, so we know the area pretty well. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People usually find out about us through word of mouth or by seeing our crews out on the road. It’s a lot of dusty work and sometimes the machines break down at the worst times, but we manage to get them fixed. We have a small tea break in the afternoon which is when we usually catch up on how things are going at the different sites. It’s not a complicated life. We have our work, we have our deadlines, and we just try to keep things moving along without too much trouble. The complex gets pretty busy on market days, so we have to get in early to find a spot for our vehicle. It's a steady pace here.
