Shilpa Medicare Ltd is located in Raichur. We are a 100% Export Oriented Unit, which means we send a lot of what we make to other places. Raichur is our home. It is a town where everyone kind of knows what is going on at the different plants. We have been here for a long time. The work we do is technical but the way we run things is pretty simple. We have a lot of people from the local area working with us. It is a big site in Raichur. You can see the buildings from the road. We are not in a fancy city like Bangalore. We like it here in this part of the state. The heat can be a lot sometimes but we have our routines. We are Shilpa Medicare Ltd. Most people just call us Shilpa. We focus on the medicine side of things. There is a lot of paperwork because of the export rules. We have people who just handle that all day. It is a busy place with trucks coming and going. We don't spend much on advertising. We just focus on the manufacturing part. It is a big operation for a place like Raichur. We have been growing slowly over the years. We stay focused on the work at hand. The town of Raichur is a good place for our workers and their families to stay.
