Out in Manipal, we work from Sudarshan Quarters, specifically at number 122 near KMC. It is a busy part of town because of all the students and hospital visitors, but our office is tucked away enough to be quiet. Operating in Karnataka means dealing with the heavy rains and the quick pace of the local area. We’ve used this quarter as our home base for a long time. This is where the paperwork happens and where we keep the project files in order. You won’t find any glass walls or corporate art here. It feels more like a lived-in space than a professional office. Early mornings are when we get most of our planning done because the weather is a bit cooler then. Much of our work involves local infrastructure, so we are often out on the road, but this is where we return to get the logistics sorted. Our desks are usually covered in maps and scribbled notes, which is just how things go when you’re busy. We don't bother with expensive signs or marketing. People looking for us usually know the way toward KMC anyway. It is a practical setup that fits the kind of work we do every day. Manipal has a unique feel to it, and we are glad to be a small part of the community here. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep ourselves organized in our own way.
