Zee Laboratories

Zee Laboratories is situated right off the G.T. Road in Uchani. Being on such a major road means there is never a quiet moment. You can always hear the trucks and buses roaring past outside. Inside the building, though, we try to keep things a bit more controlled. It’s a laboratory, so we have to pay attention to what we are doing with the samples and the equipment. We've been here for a long time and the building has seen better days, but it serves us well. The floors are white and we try to keep them that way, though it's a struggle with the dust from the highway. Our team is a mix of people who have been here forever and some newer faces. We have a routine that starts early in the morning. We check the vials, look at the logs, and get the testing started. It’s repetitive work, but it’s important to stay focused. We don't have any fancy signage or a big marketing team. Most people just know us by the name on the gate. The canteen is small and we usually just eat there or bring something from home. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living and working out here. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily lab tasks as they come, making sure everything is recorded properly.
