Upkar Clinic

Upkar Clinic is out in the village of Paldi, which is part of the Israna area. Being in a village means things are a bit slower and more personal. We are not a big city clinic with a lot of staff. It is usually just a couple of us here. We know almost everyone who walks through the door by their first name. People come in from their farms or after finishing their chores in the village. The clinic is a simple building, nothing special to look at from the outside. We have some benches for people to sit on while they wait. In Paldi, everyone talks, so news about who is sick or who is feeling better travels fast. We mostly see the usual fever, aches, and minor injuries that happen in a rural place like this. Israna is not too far, but having a clinic right here in Paldi helps the local families. We keep our doors open during the day and sometimes even when someone knocks late at night because that is how it works in a village. There are no fancy signs or big marketing flyers here. Just a small board with the name on it. We like it this way. It feels right to be part of the village life and help our neighbors. It is a quiet existence but it keeps us busy enough throughout the seasons.
