The Propellers

The Propellers is based out near Karan Lake. It’s a bit of a drive from the center of the city, but we like the quiet surroundings. We are situated near D P S School, specifically around the backside of Himalay Public School. Having two schools so close by means the traffic comes in waves at certain times of the day. During the other hours, it’s mostly just the sound of the wind or some birds in the trees. We work out of a functional building that we’ve set up for our technical projects and repairs. The interior is full of workbenches, old tools, and different parts we’ve collected. It’s definitely a workspace and not a place with a fancy lobby or anything like that. There are usually a few of us here hunched over some machinery. We’ve been in this location for a couple of years now and it suits us fine. The lake is nearby, and sometimes we go down there when we need a break from the noise of the workshop. It’s a nice change of pace. We don't have any big corporate plans or missions. We just like the work and try to get it done the way it should be done. The yard outside gets a bit messy in the summer months, but we eventually get around to clearing it. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. Most of our people find us through word of mouth.
