Shri Hari Hospital

Our hospital is situated at 31 Ashoka Colony. If you know where the Kalpana Chawla Medical College is, we are directly opposite that. Being right across from a big medical college means there are always students and doctors moving around the area. Ashoka Colony is a residential spot, so it stays a bit quieter than the main commercial roads. The hospital itself is a modest building. We have several beds and the basic facilities you’d expect for a local hospital. It’s not a five-star facility with private suites; it’s a place for regular medical care. We have a small nursing staff and a few doctors who handle the daily rounds. The floors are tiled and we try to keep things as tidy as possible, though with people coming in and out all day, it’s a challenge. We deal with various illnesses and some minor surgeries. The waiting area has some old plastic chairs and a water cooler that occasionally leaks a little bit. We don’t have a fancy reception desk with a computer system; we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with ledgers and paper files. People from the colony come to us because we are close and they know us. We just go about our work, checking on patients and making sure everyone is getting their medicine on time. It is a practical, no-nonsense hospital that fits into the local neighborhood.
