Our base is out in the village of Kunjpura, which is in the Karnal district. Our post office is right here, too. It’s a bit of a rural setting, which we actually quite like. Being a private limited company sounds formal, but really, we’re just a local outfit doing mercantile work. We deal with various goods and trading, depending on what the season or the market needs. Life in Kunjpura is a bit slower than in the big cities, but we still have plenty to do. The office is a simple place where we keep our records and meet with people. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here, but we manage. Most of our neighbors are farmers or have small shops, so everyone knows everyone. We’ve been here in the 132022 pin code area for a long time. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or big corporate goals. We just want to trade fairly and make sure our families are taken care of. The roads can get a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just part of living in a village. We’ve built up some good relationships over the years with suppliers and customers. It’s about trust more than anything else. If you come looking for us, just ask anyone in the village, they’ll point you the right way. We’re just a small part of the local economy here and we are proud of it.
