Shri Devsar Enterprises

If you travel down the Panipat Road in Safidon, you’ll find Shri Devsar Enterprises at the 27 Milestone mark. It’s out in the District of Jind and it’s a bit of a drive from the main town center. Being out here means we have a lot of space, which is good because we handle a lot of different materials. The building is a simple structure with a tin roof. When it’s windy, you can hear the metal rattling a bit. We do general trading and supply work for the farms and businesses around here. There is always a layer of dust on everything because of the trucks passing by on the road. We have a small desk near the front where we keep our receipts and a calculator. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. Most of our day is spent outside or in the shed moving things around. We talk to the drivers who stop by for a break and a glass of water. It’s a long stretch of road and we are one of the few places where you can pull over easily. We don't have a lot of neighbors, just the open fields and the highway. It gets very quiet at night, but during the day it’s a constant stream of traffic going toward Panipat or back to Safidon.
