Rmlite Overseas (Opc) Private Limited is located at Shop No. 325 in the New Anaj Mandi of Karnal. Since this is an OPC, it’s a one-person company, though there are usually a few of us around helping out with the daily chores. The New Anaj Mandi is a very loud and active place, especially when the harvest comes in. There are trucks everywhere, and the sound of people shouting and tractors moving never really stops during the day. Our shop is just one of many in the market, but we’ve made it our own little space. It’s mostly filled with ledger books and some basic furniture. We handle overseas trade, which is a bit different from the local grain trading that happens right outside our door, but it all connects in the end. The office doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. We have a fan that rattles a bit and a small stove for making tea when visitors come by. Living and working in Karnal means being close to the land and the crops, so our business feels very tied to what’s happening in the fields. We spend a lot of our time checking prices and talking to transporters to make sure our goods are moving. It’s hard work and the days can be long, but it’s honest and it keeps us busy throughout the entire year.
