Rana Clinic

Rana Clinic is right in the middle of Rajiv Puram. If you live around here, you probably pass by us all the time without thinking much about it. It’s a small place, just a few rooms where we see people for their regular coughs, colds, and minor injuries. I’ve been running this clinic for a while now, and I’ve seen kids grow up and bring their own kids back here. Rajiv Puram is a decent place to live, and having a clinic nearby makes things easier for the elders who can't travel far. The furniture inside is a bit old, mostly wooden chairs that have been polished so many times they shine. We don’t have a big neon sign out front, just a simple board with the name. During the monsoon, the street outside sometimes gets a bit muddy, so we ask everyone to leave their shoes near the door to keep the tiles clean. It’s a very basic setup. I usually sit at my desk with a lamp and a stack of notebooks. There isn’t a computer system for appointments; we just use a big paper diary and write things down by hand. It works well enough for us. People just drop in when they feel under the weather. We chat about the weather or the local news while I look at their charts. It’s a quiet life, mostly, just helping the folks next door.
