Rama Kidney Hospital

You can find us at Building Number 8 in Wazir Chand Colony. We’re tucked in near Hospital Chowk in the Model Town area. It’s a specific kind of place here because we mostly deal with kidney issues. That means we have a lot of dialysis machines and people coming in for regular appointments every week. We get to know our patients pretty well since they have to visit so often. It’s a bit of a routine for everyone. The staff knows who likes which chair and what time they usually show up. The building itself is functional. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the medical equipment and rows of beds. It can get a bit loud with the machines running all day, but you get used to the hum after a while. We aren't a giant general hospital, so things are a bit more focused here. People come to us when they have specific problems that need regular attention. Sometimes the waiting area gets crowded when the morning shift overlaps with the afternoon one. We try to keep the schedules tight, but things happen and sometimes there’s a delay. It’s a serious kind of work, but we try to keep the atmosphere calm for the people who are here for hours at a time. It’s just a specialized local spot for the neighborhood.
