R K Bhushan & Co is situated in Sector-12 of Karnal. We have shops number 19 and 20 on the first floor. If you know the Mela Ram School Market, that’s exactly where you’ll find us. We are right opposite the Mughal Canal, which is a nice landmark for giving directions. From our windows on the first floor, we can see the activity along the canal and the street below. It’s a pretty good location for an office because it’s central but not completely overwhelmed by the heaviest city traffic. The market itself has a lot of history, and we’ve been part of it for some time. Our space is divided into a couple of rooms where we keep all the ledgers and documents. It’s a plain setup—no fancy decorations or modern art on the walls. We just have the basics like tables and computers to get the work finished. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the school nearby lets out and the kids are heading home, but that’s just part of the day. We have people coming in from all over Karnal to drop off their paperwork for us to look at. We sit down with them, have a quick talk, and then get to work. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We don’t believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. It’s just a normal workplace.
