This school is located right at the 108 K.M. Stone on the G T Road, Nh-1, in the Gharaunda area of Karnal. Being on such a major road means we are very easy to spot. The school has been standing here in Purani Shivpuri for a while, serving the families nearby. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement. Every day, the buses arrive and the gates open for the morning rush. The building is functional and fits the needs of the students who come here. We have classrooms that are usually full of chatter until the teacher walks in. There is a playground area where the kids spend their free time, and it’s always a bit dusty because of the dry weather we get here in Karnal. The atmosphere is very down-to-earth. We don't have any corporate polish; it's just us doing our jobs. The teachers are locals who understand the community well. We see the same faces every day, and we’ve seen siblings grow up through the grades. Life at the 108 K.M. Stone revolves around the school bell. When the school day ends, the walk back to the village or the ride home is part of the routine. We focus on the basics and keep things running as smoothly as we can. It’s a practical environment where the main goal is just to get the kids through their lessons. We don't need fancy decorations to teach people how to read and write correctly.
