New Rajasthan Marbles

New Rajasthan Marbles is set up on G.T. Karnal Road. We are in the Tehsil Karnal area, right opposite the big rice mill. You can usually smell the grain in the air when the wind blows the right way toward our gate. Our location is convenient for the big lorries coming down the main road. The yard is quite large, which is good because we keep a lot of stock out in the open. I have been working with marble for many years and this spot works well for us. There’s a lot of grit and sand around the place. My office has a window that looks out over the front gate so I can see who is coming and going. We don’t have any fancy displays. The stones are just lined up in rows. You have to walk through the rows to see the different colors and veins in the rock. It’s physical work. We spend the day loading and unloading, checking for cracks, and making sure the counts are right. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, but we just put on our boots and keep going. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We know the other shop owners down the road. We stay open pretty late most days because the highway never really sleeps. It is just a regular place where we deal with stone and handle the daily grind. We aren't trying to be anything we're not, just a marble yard on the road.
