Narayan Hospital

If you are coming from the railway road in Kalayat, you will find Narayan Hospital sitting right there near the police station. It is a busy little spot because of the trains and the officers nearby, so there is always a sense of movement around us. We have been part of this neighborhood for a while, and the building has that lived-in feel that you only get from years of people coming and going. It isn't a quiet place, especially when the whistles from the station blow or the sirens go off, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We spend our days dealing with all sorts of regular health stuff that people in Kalayat deal with. Sometimes a farmer comes in after a long day in the fields, or a shopkeeper from the market stops by because they aren't feeling quite right. We keep the doors open and try to make sure everyone who enters gets a fair bit of our time. There are no fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need to do our jobs. The chairs in the waiting room have seen better days, but they are sturdy enough. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local hospital on a busy road, doing the daily work of looking after the people who live and work around the railway tracks and the police station here in Kalayat.
