Batra Organic Farm

Batra Organic Farm is situated over on Meerut Road near Nagla Meghan and Dharapuram Road. We spend most of our time out in the fields or in the sheds. It’s a working farm, so there is always mud or dust depending on the season. We grow things the old way without all the chemicals. It takes more effort but we prefer it. Our hands are usually dirty from the soil. The farm has been in the family area for a bit. We wake up early, usually before the sun is fully up, to check on the crops. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and we have to work twice as hard to save the harvest. We sell what we grow right here. People drive down Meerut Road to pick up fresh produce. It’s not a big supermarket setup. It’s just us and the land. We have some cows too, and they need feeding every single day. There are no holidays on a farm. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just have our vegetables and our fruits. If the crop is good, we are happy. If it’s a bad year, we just keep going. It’s a simple life out here near Nagla Meghan. We like the fresh air and the quiet nights. People seem to appreciate having a farm close to the main road where they can get real food. It is a lot of hard work but we are used to it.
