Liberty India

Our place is located at Sanjay Chowk, right along the G.T. Road. If you know that area, you know how loud and busy it gets with all the trucks passing by at all hours. Liberty India has been operating out of this spot for a good while. It’s a practical space, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of stuff and people moving boxes around. We deal with a lot of logistics because of where we are situated on the main road. The dust from the road gets everywhere, so we are constantly dusting things off. It feels like a constant battle. We have a small group of guys who handle the heavy lifting. We usually start early before the sun gets too hot. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the stalls nearby. We don't really have a front desk or anything fancy like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see me or one of the others checking an inventory list. It can get pretty chaotic when three different trucks arrive at the same time. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s a straightforward way of working. Most of our day is spent making sure the orders are packed correctly and ready to go. The G.T. Road never really sleeps, so there is always something going on outside our door.
