Jp Sale & Service is up on the first floor of the building at the fish market. We are in Shop No. 4, right above Sagar Painter and not too far from the church on Railway Road. It’s a very lively part of town. You can hear the market going all day, and there’s always a smell of fresh fish and paint in the air, depending on which way the wind is blowing. It’s a busy place to work. Our shop is reached by a set of stairs that are a bit narrow, but once you’re up here, it’s a bit calmer. We handle a lot of repairs and sales for various items. The floor is usually covered in tools or parts that we’ve taken out of something else. We try to keep it tidy, but when you have five things to fix and customers waiting, the cleaning usually waits until the end of the day. We’ve been here for a long time, so most of the other shopkeepers around the railway road area know us. We drink a lot of tea and talk to whoever stops by. It’s the kind of place where people come in just to say hello while they’re doing their shopping downstairs. We don't have a big marketing plan; we just do the repairs as they come in and hope the word spreads that we do okay work for a fair price.
