Jai Jawala Bricks Company

We started Jai Jawala Bricks Company because we needed a way to keep things moving here in the area near Nerukheri. Making bricks isn't fancy work, but it is what we do every day. We spend most of our time out in the yard dealing with the clay and the heat from the kilns. It gets dusty and loud, especially when the trucks come in to load up. Most of the people working here live close by. We know the soil around here and how it reacts when you fire it up. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and we have to slow down, but that's just how it goes with this kind of business. We don't have a big office or anyone in a suit answering the phones. It is usually just one of us wiping the dirt off our hands to pick up. People know where to find us. We have been in this spot for a while now and we just keep at it. There is something about seeing a stack of finished bricks ready to go that feels right. We don't spend much time worrying about being modern or using flashy equipment. We use what works and what we know. If you drive past Nerukheri, you will see the chimneys and the piles of red earth. That is us. We just focus on getting the stacks ready for whoever needs them for their walls or houses. It is a simple life, but it keeps us busy.
