Harig Crankshaft Limted

Julana, Jind 126102. India. This is where Harig Crankshaft Limted is located. Crankshafts are what we do. It’s precision work but it’s done in a place that feels very local. Julana is a small town, and everyone kind of knows what everyone else is doing. The factory has a specific smell—a mix of metal, coolant, and old grease. It’s a smell you never really get out of your clothes. We work on engine parts all day. The machines hum and click. It’s a lot of repetitive motion, making sure everything is just right. Jind can get very cold in the winter and incredibly hot in the summer, and the factory floor feels all of it. We have people from all around the local villages working here. We don't have a fancy corporate office with glass walls. Our walls are painted brick and they’ve seen a lot of years. We just focus on the crankshafts. It’s about the measurements and the metal. When the whistle blows for lunch, everyone sits together outside or in the break room. It’s a community as much as it is a business. We just keep at it, day after day. There is a sense of pride when a batch is finished and ready to go out. The road outside can be bumpy, but the trucks make it through. We’ve been here for a long time and we don’t plan on changing much. It is just the way we work here in Haryana.
