Gainda Ram Bearings (P) Ltd.

Our shop is on Cinema Road, and we still use Post Box 58 for a lot of our mail. It is a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us and our regulars know it. We handle all kinds of bearings here. They are heavy and usually come covered in a bit of grease to keep them from rusting while they sit on the shelves. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, so we have to be careful when we are looking for a specific part number. It can get a bit dusty in the back where the older stock is kept. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the sizes and the types by heart now. Cinema Road isn't as busy as it used to be when the theater was more popular, but we still see plenty of people coming through for mechanical parts. The office part is just a wooden desk and some old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them. We don't spend money on fancy furniture because it doesn't help us sell more bearings. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. Most days are about the same. We talk to the mechanics who come in, drink some water from the cooler, and try to keep the inventory organized. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied throughout the week.
