Esha Leather is based out of H. No-86 in Sector-6, over in the Urban Estate area. It’s more of a residential-feeling spot than a heavy industrial zone, which makes the vibe a little different for a leather business. We work out of this house-turned-business space, and it’s filled to the brim with leather rolls and finished pieces. You can usually tell which house is ours because of the van parked outside getting loaded up. We aren't interested in being a big name with a fancy office. We just like working with leather. It’s a tough material, but we’ve learned how to handle it over the years. The rooms are a bit cramped because we use every inch for storage or workbenches. We do a lot of the cutting and finishing ourselves. Sometimes the neighbors probably wonder about the noise, but we try to keep it reasonable. We don't have a mission statement or anything. We just wake up, check what needs to be made, and get to it. It’s a lot of manual labor, using tools that have been around for ages. The leather smells strong, especially when it’s fresh, but we don't mind it anymore. We’re just a local business doing our thing in Sector-6, making sure the leather goods we send out are solid and well-made. It's just a regular day of work for us here.
