Chaudhry Hospital

Our place, Chaudhry Hospital, is located at 1543 in Sector 13. It is pretty easy to find because we are right near that big water tank that everyone uses as a landmark. If you are driving around this part of Sector 13, you can’t really miss it. The building is a standard size, nothing too massive, but it fits everything we need to keep things running. I’ve spent many long afternoons looking out the window toward the tank, watching the clouds or the birds. It’s usually a bit quieter on this street compared to the main market areas, which is nice for the people staying here. We keep things pretty simple inside. No leather sofas or expensive art on the walls, just the basic stuff for a hospital. The staff here has been together for a bit, so we kind of know how each other works without having to say much. There is always some cleaning to do or some equipment to check on. It’s a lot of responsibility, taking care of a building like this, but we manage. People come in from all over the sector, and even from the outskirts sometimes. We just try to keep the place clean and the lights on. It’s not a flashy lifestyle, working in a local hospital, but it feels right being here in the middle of the neighborhood where people actually live and work and get on with their lives every single day.
