Our office is up on the second floor of Yogesh Tower on Kunjpura Road. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always a lot of noise coming up from the street. Here at Bird Wireless Technology Pvt. Ltd., we deal with wireless technology, which means our desks are usually covered in routers, antennas, and all sorts of cables. It’s not a very large office, but it’s enough for us to do our testing and handle the technical side of things. We spend a lot of time staring at signal strengths on monitors and trying to figure out why a connection isn’t as stable as it should be. Sometimes it gets a bit frustrating when the tech doesn't behave, but we just keep at it until it's sorted. We aren't the type to wear suits or have big corporate meetings. Most of our day is spent in casual clothes, drinking tea and talking about the latest gear that’s come in. People from the neighborhood often come up the stairs looking for advice on how to get their wireless setups running better. We try to give them straight answers without using too much jargon. The building itself is a bit old, and the elevator can be temperamental, so we often just take the stairs. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve gotten to know the other people in the tower over the years. We just focus on the technical work and making sure the wireless systems we handle are doing what they’re supposed to do.
