People are getting off buses, others are waiting for the next one to Panipat, and there’s a lot of shouting and horns honking. It is a lively place to work. We have been in this part of the 132103 area for a good while. Our clinic is small, just enough space for the patients and a small desk. Since we are at such a central point in Kabri, we see everyone. Not just the sick people, but also folks who just want to ask a quick question while they wait for their ride. The blue buses and the private ones all stop right here, so there is a constant stream of people in the square. We keep the door open most of the time to let the breeze in, even if it brings a bit of dust with it. The floor is made of simple stone, and we try to keep it clean, but with the bus stop right there, it is a constant job. We don't have a big team or anything. It is just a few of us making sure the medicines are ready and the thermometer is clean. Sometimes we have to work through our lunch break because a bus just arrived with someone who needs help.
