Sina Valley Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of House No. 552 in Malthantaluka Karjat. We are basically a group of farmers who decided to come together to manage our stuff better. It started small, just a few neighbors talking about how hard it was to get fair prices on our own. Now we handle things collectively. Our office is just a simple room where we keep the records and meet up to discuss the season. Karjat is a decent place for farming, but it has its challenges like anywhere else. We spend a lot of time figuring out seeds, fertilizers, and where the crops are going next. It isn't always smooth. Sometimes the paperwork gets messy or we can't agree on a specific plan, but we work through it because we have to. Everyone here has their own farm to look after too, so this company is something we do alongside our daily chores. We don't use any fancy corporate talk because that's not who we are. We are just local people trying to make a living from the soil. The building at House No. 552 is usually where you'll find someone if they aren't out in the fields. We handle the bulk sales and try to keep the costs down for everyone involved. It’s a lot of coordination, phone calls, and physical labor. That’s pretty much the whole story of how we operate here day in and day out.
