Our spot is out by Lake Pavana in Tungi Village, over in the Mavar region. It’s a long way from the city, and that’s mostly the point. We spend our time managing the property right by the water. The wind can get pretty strong coming off the lake, and we’re always chasing down loose umbrellas or checking the paths. It’s a rural setting, so we deal with things like local wildlife and the changing seasons more than most businesses do. Our day starts early with a walk around the grounds to make sure everything looks okay after the night. We aren't corporate types in suits. We’re mostly in outdoor gear, ready to help a guest with their luggage or explain the best spot to see the sunset. The village is small, so we work closely with the locals for supplies and help. It’s a lot of logistics getting things delivered all the way out here. Sometimes the roads are rough, but we make it work. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just make sure the rooms are clean, the food is ready, and the lake is still there. It’s a lot of work to keep a resort running in a remote village, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the rhythm of the place. We just take each day as it comes.
