Our place, Saurer Textile Solutions Pvt. Ltd., is situated right near the Toll Plaza on NH 8 in Bharthana. Being out here in Taluka Karjan, District Vadodara, means we see a lot of trucks passing by all day and night. The highway is right there, so it's never really quiet, but that’s fine for what we do. Inside the facility, things are usually humming along. We deal with the machines and the parts, so there is a lot of heavy lifting and checking involved. It’s a big space because we need the room for all the gear. Some of the guys have been commuting here from Vadodara city for a long time. It’s a bit of a drive, but we’re a good group. We don't really do the whole corporate vibe. We’re more about getting our hands dirty and making sure the equipment is running properly. If something breaks, we fix it. If someone needs a part, we find it in the warehouse. The dust from the road can be a bit much sometimes, but we keep the workspace as clean as we can. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us, we just have people who know how to handle the work. It’s honest work out here by the toll plaza.
