Umama International

Our office is located at 24 Anguri Bagh, right in the middle of Jajmau. We go by the name Umama International, even though we are just a small operation here. Mostly we deal with goods that pass through this part of Kanpur, as Jajmau is always busy with leather and export work. It is a crowded neighborhood with trucks and rickshaws coming and going at all hours. Our workspace is not much to look at, just a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of paperwork piled up in the corners. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to the suppliers who drop by to check on their orders. There is always a lot of tea being made while we discuss the daily business. It can get pretty loud outside with all the traffic, but we have gotten used to the noise by now. We have been at this address for quite some time, so all the local couriers know exactly where to find our door. It is a family-run kind of thing, so you might see different relatives helping out with the boxes on different days. We do not have a massive staff, just a few people who know the trade inside and out. Some days are a bit stressful when a shipment gets delayed, but that is just how trade works. We try to keep things simple and focus on the work.
