Thandra Sujatha Road Rollers

Our shop, Thandra Sujatha Road Rollers, is based at H No 14-2-293/15 in Ambedkar Nagar. This is in the 5 Incline Area of Godavarikhanai, which is part of the Ramagundam Mandal in the Karimnagar district. This part of the country gets very hot, and that is where we keep our road rollers. These are heavy machines and they take a lot of looking after. When they are not out on a job, they are parked up near the house. We spend a lot of time checking the engines and making sure the rollers are clean. There is always some grease or oil that needs to be wiped away. The dust in Godavarikhanai is quite thick, so the machines get dirty fast. We are a small local operation and we know the roads around here pretty well. Sometimes we have to travel a bit further out in Karimnagar for work. It is not an easy job because the machines move slowly and the sun is always beating down. We have some spare parts kept in the back and a few tools for basic repairs. People in Ambedkar Nagar know us because the rollers are hard to miss when they are parked outside. We do not have a big office, just the machines and the space where we maintain them. It is a steady kind of work that depends on the local construction and who needs a road flattened. We have been here for many years.
