Sri Venkateshwara Traders

We’ve been here at 4-9-298 on the Chintakunta Jagtiala Bypass Road for a while now. It’s a dusty spot sometimes because of all the trucks going past Velchal, but we like it here. My brother and I started this place to handle local trading needs. Most days it’s just us moving things around and making sure the inventory is right. People stop by on their way through the bypass. We don't have fancy office chairs or anything. Just a desk and some ledgers. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get the shutters up, but we manage. We stock what people ask for mostly. It’s quiet in the afternoons when the sun is really hot. We just sit out front and watch the traffic go by toward Jagtiala. It’s not a big operation, just Sri Venkateshwara Traders. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. If we don't have something, we try to get it by next week. It is a simple way to make a living. The bypass road has changed a lot since we opened. More shops are coming up now. But we stay focused on our work here in Velchal. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting bags and checking lists. My hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day. That is just how it goes when you run a trading spot like this one.
