Sri Shivarama Iron Traders

Sri Shivarama Iron Traders is based at Dr. No:26 inside the Vavilala Laxmi Shopping Complex. We’re right on Beet Road, which connects to the Karimnagar Main Road. It’s a central spot, so we see a lot of foot traffic, even if most of them aren’t looking for iron. Our shop is a bit different from the other stores in the complex because of what we sell. Iron is heavy and takes up a lot of room. We have to be careful how we stack everything so it doesn’t get in the way. It’s a busy environment. We’ve been here for several years. The complex can get a bit crowded during the middle of the day. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work for the trading we do. We don't have any professional decorators; the walls are just covered with old calendars and some notes. It’s a practical place to do business. Most of our day is spent talking to customers and checking the inventory. Karimnagar is a good place for this kind of trade. We know the other shop owners around Beet Road. We just keep our heads down and focus on the iron. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve built a steady rhythm over the years at unit 26. When it rains, the sound on the roof of the complex is quite loud, which makes talking a challenge.
