Sodastop

We are right near the SBH bank in Kalya Nagar, so we get a lot of people who are tired from waiting in line. Sodastop is just a small place at Dr. No.7-56, but it serves its purpose when the sun is beating down on Karim Nagar district. The sound of the soda machine is something I hear in my sleep sometimes. It is that sharp hiss and the clink of the glass. We started this because there wasn't much else to drink around this corner. My nephew helps me out during the lunch rush when the office workers come out. We do not have a big menu, just the things we know how to make well. The counter is a bit worn out from all the coins and keys people put on it. We keep a few chairs out front, but most people just stand and drink fast so they can get back to work. It is a dusty spot with the construction going on nearby, but we keep the glasses clean. I like the rhythm of the day, from the quiet morning to the busy afternoon. We do not do any advertising or anything like that. People just see the sign and come over. It is a simple setup and we do not want to make it complicated. As long as the gas cylinders arrive on time and the water is cold, we are happy enough.
