Shivaganga Drinking Water Plant

Our plant is located at 2-699-8 in Karim Nagar. It is a fairly straightforward place. If you are walking nearby, you can hear the constant noise of the pumps running. We have been here for a good while now, focusing on bottled water for the people around here. The office is just a small room with some old chairs and a big logbook where we keep track of everything. Most of the time, we are out on the floor where the bottling happens. It gets very hot in Karim Nagar during the summer months, so we try to get most of the heavy loading done early in the morning. We see the same faces every day, mostly local guys coming to pick up their supply on cycles or in small autos. We have a quick talk and then they are on their way. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a real hassle because everything just stops. We just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It is not a complicated life but it keeps us busy from dawn until dusk. I usually end up with wet shoes and a damp shirt by the end of the shift. That is just how it is when you work in a water plant. We keep the equipment running and the tanks full, day in and day out. We don't have many employees, just a couple of us who know how to fix things when they act up.
