Ramakrishna Dal Mill

Started this mill a while back in Madhapur village. It’s located at Sarvay No. 11, in Village Madhapur, right on the Main Road. We are near opposite Trinity School, which makes it easy for most people to find us. The machines make a lot of noise every day but that’s how you know we’re working. We spend most of our mornings cleaning the grains and getting the dal ready. It’s a dusty place, to be honest. There is always a layer of powder on the floor and the bags are stacked high against the walls. My father used to say that a busy mill is a good sign. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just some chairs and a desk where we do the paperwork. People from the village come by often to see what we have. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow part of the road near the school, which is a bit of a headache. We mostly just focus on getting the splitting and polishing done right. It's not glamorous work, but it's what we know how to do. We’ve been at this for years now. Usually, the gates are open early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We try to keep things organized, but when several loads come in at once, it gets a bit chaotic around here. That is just how it goes at Ramakrishna Dal Mill. We have a small crew and we mostly just keep to ourselves and do the work.
