Prasad Computer Education

Prasad Computer Education is right in Kurikial village. We are part of the Gangadhara Mandal in the Karimnagar district of Telangana. Our address is Hno 1-92. It is a quiet village for the most part, but the center gets quite lively when the students arrive. We have a set of computers lined up against the walls. They aren't the newest models, but they work fine for learning the basics. We teach things like typing and how to use common software programs. Many young people from the surrounding areas come here to get comfortable with technology. The electricity sometimes goes out in the village, so we have to plan around that. We’ve got some fans to keep the room cool during the hot Telangana summers. Karimnagar is the main town nearby, but we like being here in Kurikial. It’s more convenient for the local families. The desks are a bit scratched up from years of use, and the chairs are simple plastic ones. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign, just our name on the building. Sometimes we have to explain things twice or three times until everyone understands. It’s a slow process but we don't mind. We see a lot of students who are nervous at first because they haven't used a computer much before. By the end of the month, they are usually much more confident. We just keep the doors open and the systems running as best as we can, day after day, for the village.
