You can find us at the Basantnagar staff colony, specifically at C1 31. This is where Kesoram Cement has its roots, and it’s a bit of a different way to live and work. Since we are part of the B.K. Birla Group, there is a lot of history here in Karimnagar district, but on a daily basis, it just feels like a small town. Most of us live right here in the colony, so our neighbors are also our coworkers. You might see us walking over to the plant or just hanging out near the P. Sada Shiva Reddy area. We’ve been here in Andhra Pradesh for a long time, and the staff colony is like one big family. We do not have a lot of formal meetings; usually, we just talk about what needs to be done while we are walking between buildings. Life is steady here. We focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the bags get loaded onto the trucks. It is a lot of manual coordination and making sure everyone is safe. We do not need fancy offices because the real work happens out there on the floor and in the loading bays every single day.
