Marati Soundarya

I live and work at H No 2-591/4 in Thippapuram, which is in the Vemulawada area of Rajanna district. My business is small and I run it myself without any big office or employees. I use a small space in my house to get things done. Most of my work involves helping the local people who live around here. Since we are in Vemulawada, it can get quite busy during the times when people come to visit the temple. I spend my days talking to people and handling whatever tasks come up. It isn't always perfectly organized. Sometimes I have papers all over my table and I have to spend time searching for what I need. I’m not a big professional with a lot of fancy training. I just learned how to do things by trying and sometimes making mistakes along the way. My neighbors know me well and they know where to find me if they need something. I’ve been in this house for a long time, so it feels natural to work from here. I don't have a website or any posters. People just come by because they know Marati Soundarya is here to help. It’s a modest way of living but it keeps me busy and I like being my own boss. Every day is a little different, and that’s what makes it interesting for me here in Thippapuram. The Rajanna area is a nice place to call home.
