Mahi'S Photography

Mahi’S Photography is right here at Green Place Plaza, just a short walk from Geetha Bhavan. I usually get in early to check my gear and make sure everything is ready for whatever comes through the door. It gets busy on weekends when people have events or just need a simple portrait for something. This shop has been here for a bit, and people know they can find me near the landmark. Sometimes the lighting in the plaza is tricky, but you get used to it after a while. I spend a lot of time sitting at the desk editing shots or just chatting with folks who stop by to ask about prices. It isn't a huge studio with fancy curtains, but it works for what we do. The neighborhood around Geetha Bhavan has changed quite a bit since I started, but the plaza stays mostly the same. I try to keep the cameras clean and the batteries charged. Sometimes people bring in old photos they want to fix, and that takes a lot of time staring at the screen. It is quiet in the mornings, which I like because I can get some coffee and plan the day. If you are walking around Green Place Plaza, you will see the sign. I’m usually there unless I’m out on a shoot somewhere else in town. It is just me and the work, really. Nothing too complicated or stressful, just taking pictures and making sure they look okay before people pick them up. I’ve been doing this for years.
