Sri Venkateshwara Company

Our place is situated on the Main Road. It’s a busy stretch where vehicles are constantly passing by. We have been running Sri Venkateshwara Company from this location for quite a few years now. The front door sticks a little when it rains, but we’ve gotten used to it. Most of our mornings are spent unpacking whatever arrived late the night before. There isn't much space for a fancy office, so we mostly work from a small desk near the entrance. You can see the dust dancing in the sunlight that comes through the window. It gets loud with the horns honking outside, especially during the rush hour in the afternoon. We mostly deal with people who live around here or those just passing through who noticed our sign. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We don't put on any airs about what we do. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks that have been there since I can remember. Sometimes we sit out front on plastic chairs when things are slow. We know the other shop owners on this road well. It’s a community of sorts where everyone is just trying to get their work done. We keep our records in a big old notebook that’s starting to fall apart at the edges. It’s just how we operate here. Nothing too complicated, just a daily routine on the main road. We are here every day.
