Ijal Industry

In the Karimnagar district, specifically the Kamalapur mandal, we have Ijal Industry. It is located at H No 10-27/1 in the main village. It’s a bit of a trek to get here from the main city, but this is where we have our space. We do industrial work on a smaller scale. Most of our days are spent in the shed, working with various materials and machines. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of dust and the sound of motors humming all day long. We’ve lived in this village for generations, so the industry is really just an extension of our lives here. We employ a couple of local guys who live just down the road. We don't have a big corporate structure. If there’s a problem, we just sit down and figure it out together. The weather in Karimnagar can get really hot, so we try to do the heaviest work in the early morning or late evening when it’s cooler. Our address is well known to the locals. We don't really need a big map to find us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the machines break down and we spend the whole day fixing them instead of producing anything. That’s just how it goes. We take it one day at a time, keeping the industry running as best as we can. When it rains, we have to watch out for leaks in the roof, but we manage.
