Gupta Food Products

Our unit is over in 67-Block of the New GIDC area. It’s right on Karimnagar Road, not too far from Mahaveer Chowk. Since we’re in an industrial zone, there’s always the sound of machines and trucks in the background. We make food products here, focusing on things people use in their kitchens every day. The workspace is mostly filled with crates and big bags of ingredients. We start early when the air is still a bit cool before the afternoon heat hits the GIDC sheds. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and checking the batches. We aren’t a huge factory with thousands of workers, just a group of local people putting in the hours. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a motor or a belt, which is just part of the deal. Being near Mahaveer Chowk is handy for getting supplies, though the traffic can be a real headache at five o’clock. We don’t do much fancy stuff here, no big meetings or long speeches. We just focus on the production and getting the orders out to the shops. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but as long as the food is handled right and the place is clean, we don’t mind much. We just want to keep things running smoothly for our neighbors and customers around the Karimnagar area.
