The walk from the main gate of Vijethagreen City to Plot 23 takes a few minutes if you're on foot. We usually see the neighbors out watering their plants or washing their scooters in the mornings. Our building is at number 2-20/4/151, and it’s a pretty standard house structure. Inside, we’ve set up some tables and chairs to handle the Chennadi Mutual Returns Nidhi Limited business. It’s nothing like the big offices you see in the city. We have a few cupboards filled with files and a computer that hums a bit too loudly when it’s been on all day. Karimnagar gets very hot, so we rely on the ceiling fans to keep things moving. We don’t have a fancy waiting area, just a few plastic chairs for anyone who drops by to talk. Sometimes we sit there and have our lunch while looking over the ledgers. T.G. Pally is a quiet place for the most part, which makes it easier to focus on the numbers. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. It’s just a place to work and meet the people from around here who trust us with their money. Most of the day is just quiet paperwork and the occasional phone call. We like the pace here. It’s honest work in a neighborhood we know well and have been in for a while now. We just do our bit.
