Chaiaala Stop Cafe

Over in Shanti Nagar, at 8-1-45, we set up this little cafe called Chaiaala Stop. Rajanna Siricilla is a busy place, and we thought having a spot to just sit and have a cup of chai would be good for the neighborhood. It’s not a big space, just a few tables and a counter where we make everything. We aren’t trying to compete with the big chains or anything. We just wanted a place where the tea is made the way we like it at home. The staff is mostly local kids who needed a job, and we all just learn as we go. Sometimes we get the measurements a bit different, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making things by hand. The cafe gets a lot of light in the afternoons, which makes it a nice place to sit. We don’t have a website or anything fancy, just our sign out front in Shanti Nagar. People come in, they talk, they leave, and we clean up for the next person. It’s a pretty basic life here at the cafe. We keep the shelves stocked with snacks and make sure the milk is fresh every morning. It’s been a learning process figuring out what people in Rajanna Siricilla like to eat, but we’re getting the hang of it slowly. It’s just a regular shop for regular people.
