Balaji Skin Care Hospital

Laxmi Nagar is always crowded. Finding the hospital near the City Cable office is usually how people get here. It is a plain building. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when two people are passing each other. Inside, the waiting area has a few rows of metal chairs. They get cold in the winter. We see a lot of people with rashes or itchy skin. Some people come from quite far away, but most are just from the neighborhood. There is a small window where you give your name. The glass has some smudges on it from people leaning. The doctors here just do their work without much fuss. It can get noisy outside because of the traffic on the main road. You can hear the horns honking all afternoon. We have a cooler in the corner for water, but sometimes the paper cups run out. The walls have some old posters about health that have started to curl at the edges. It is a busy place, especially in the evenings when everyone finishes work. We keep things moving as fast as we can. It is not a very big place, so it feels a bit cramped when it is raining outside and everyone crowds in. We try to keep the files organized, but the shelves are getting pretty full. It is just a regular hospital for skin problems in this part of town.
