Apsara Eye Clinic

Our clinic, Apsara Eye Clinic, is located right on govt.hosproad. This road is usually packed because it leads to the main government hospital, so there is always a lot of movement outside our door. We deal with eyes, so we have a few machines and those charts with the letters on them. It is a simple setup. People come in because they can't see the board at school or they need new glasses for driving. We spend a lot of time sitting in the dark rooms checking how people’s eyes react to light. The road outside is noisy with horns and people shouting, but inside we try to keep it a bit calmer so people can focus on the tests. We don't have a big fancy lobby. There are just some wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. Sometimes the wait is long because we get a lot of walk-ins from the hospital road. We just take them one by one. It’s a small operation here at Apsara Eye Clinic. We have been on govt.hosproad for a while and we know the other shopkeepers nearby. Most of the time it is just us and the patients. We don't do much advertising. People just see the sign when they are going to the hospital and they stop in. It is a basic, honest way to run a clinic in this town. The weather usually gets hot in the afternoon, so the shade from the building helps a bit. We just keep doing what we do.
