We are located out in Kalairbond, near Badarpurghat. Our office is set up at Subodh Ch Karmakar’s place. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't from the Badarpur or Hailakandi area, but it’s home to us. Mlb Mutual Growth Nidhi Limited has been around for a while, just doing its thing in this corner of the world. The office is pretty simple, nothing like those big offices you see in the cities. We have a few desks, some old fans that creak a bit, and a lot of paper. Subodh is usually around if you need to ask something specific. The area is mostly quiet, which is nice for getting work done. We see a lot of people from the local villages who come in to talk about their needs. We don't have a website that does everything for you; we prefer talking face to face. It feels more real that way. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get here, but we try to keep the doors open anyway. It’s a humble setup, but it serves the people around Badarpurghat just fine. We don’t use big words or try to impress anyone with fancy talk. We just do the daily tasks and go home to our families when the day is done. That is pretty much the whole story of who we are. There’s a small radio that we play sometimes, mostly for the news or some local music. It keeps the office from being too quiet. We’ve seen the seasons change many times from these windows. The trees outside have grown quite a bit since we first started. We don't have many visitors from outside the district, but that’s okay.
