Jaypee Cement

This is the Jaypee Cement location out in Gollapalli village. We are situated in the Raghavapur post area, which is part of the Peddapalli mandal. This is down in the Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh, using the 505172 pin code. It is a very rural setting, quite far from the big cities. Most of our days are spent out here among the local fields and the small village houses. The cement work is the main thing going on at this site. It’s a dusty job, and the weather in Karimnagar can get really hot during the summer months. We have our setup right there in Gollapalli where we manage the local operations. It’s not a fancy office at all. We just have the basic rooms we need to keep the logs and talk to the drivers. The village life is slow, but the plant keeps a steady pace. We see the same people from Raghavapur every day. It’s a tight-knit community and everyone knows where the Jaypee site is. We’ve been part of this landscape for a while now. Getting things in and out of the district takes some planning because of the local roads. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the cement gets where it needs to go from our little corner of Peddapalli. It’s honest work and we just take it one day at a time here in the village.
