Raj Cold Drinks

Raj Cold Drinks has been sitting right in front of the New Tehsil in Mainpuri for a good while. If you're on Coit Road, you can't really miss the spot. It's a busy area because of the government offices nearby. People are always coming and going, especially during the middle of the day when they have paperwork to do at the Tehsil. I started this because I saw how thirsty everyone got waiting around in the sun. It's not a complicated business. We just stock up on cold drinks and keep the coolers running. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to mess with the generator, which is a pain. My brother helps me out when it gets really crowded in the afternoons. The shop isn't very big, and we have crates stacked up pretty high in the back. I usually sit on a plastic chair near the front so I can see who’s coming. The noise from the traffic on Coit Road is constant, but you stop hearing it after a few months. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the shop and the people who walk in. It's a simple way to make a living. We know most of the guys working at the Tehsil by name now. They come over for a drink and a chat when they have a break. It's a decent spot to be.
